Is Medical Marijuana a Good Way to Make a Living or Extra Income? I think the role that medical marijuana will play in helping people deal with pain over the next 50-100 years will be significant. I also think there are untold other properties medical and otherwise that are still currently unknown about this plant, its various strains and its differing effects on different people. So on one hand.. YES I think somehow positioning yourself in the Medical Marijuana business might be a smart thing to do as it should be a growing market. On the other hand I would say don't pull up your corn field and plant a bunch of pot or marijuana or cannibas plants without knowing what you are doing and getting the proper permits or you will probably go to jail. Which brings me to one way that I think you coud capitalize on Medical Marijuana safely from the sidelines so to speak. Research... Newsletters on the industry, etc. Cover what is happening as these new laws as they pop up and how are people involved affected. What are the steps that it takes to become a grower, or even a medical marijuana patient or a dispensory, etc.? Maybe you could sell a how to become a grower, or a how to open a dispensory course that teaches people that want the hassle how to do it. Now the best way to learn is always to do it, then to teach it. So if you want to go down this road of creating a how to course, either get the help from several who already have done the process or do it yourself and document your journey. Then try teaching a few people how to do it and you will learn more still. You can probably even find a course that is already written like one of these: 1. 2. 3. That you could sell and get paid an affiliate commission on.
There are lots of unkowns in this area right now... still it is expanding with its daily trials and tribulations. Marijuana has been around for a very long time... Its first use was supposedly documented something like 2500 BC, so I seriously doubt it will go away anytime soon... Its use and perception might change as it has done drastically over the last 100 years. I grew up in the 70's so I missed the real hippie revolution in the 60's at least from a practical perspective. Still, it has always seemed to me that this is one of the more harmless drugs out there on the street and it seems like as long as people aren't trying to do safety related jobs, or tasks (including driving) while stoned or blasted out of their mind, then whats the problem... Tobacco is a drug or a plant with "drugs" in it. Alcohol is a drug. So what is the difference? Tobacco has its own detrimental affects, but in its pure form it even has some medicinal affects. Similarly alcohol has some medical benefits in small doses, but can ruin lives when it is overdone. Lets face it anything can be abused... Take Coke and I done mean cocaine. I mean Coca Cola - "Coke". Many people consume 3 or more 32 ounce glasses of this stuff a day. I gotta admit it I love it too, but I am seriously trying to cut back and not drink more than a 12 ounce portion a day at the most.. Trying to use Tea or Water as a substitute. But I digress. I think Marijuana will be found to be "not that bad" and will become more and more mainstream over the next 50 years and I think that by helping people that want or choose to use it for their particular reasons, navigate through the legal issues and process of getting legal about their "drug of choice". This would be a good strategy to also distance yourself from the particular legal issues surrounding this area of money making potential. By having affiliates actually sell and distribute products, you don't personnally have to deal with creating or distributing them.
